I’ve been working on this during my spare time for the Pop Princess Illustrator contest. All the contestants had to come up with a custom fabric design for her brand that featured her bunny Hopscotch. I managed to make it to one of the top three finalists :D

It’s been an interesting project so far! I’ve wanted to get back into putting together some fabric designs and this contest was a great way to test the waters. Even if my design falls through it’d be nice to get back into sewing and maybe making a couple skirts or JSKs or something again.

I’ve been working between Sai and Photoshop for this design. Sai (well, as far as I know) doesn’t have the ability to lay things out in a grid so I’ve had to go back and forth between the two programs to get things right.

I love working for Kawaii Companions :D they always give me an opportunity to draw the stuff I like. It’s interesting to post this after a year since I’ve kind of changed my workflow and the way I render.

Something fast and fun :D I’ve been feeling kind of burnt out in the art department, so Kirby helped me out with the coloring. I have a few craft things I’ve been working on that I can hopefully post photos soon :D

“Mother Creeper” completed :D and set for the Geeky Glamorous art show!

This was such a fun piece to work on; I have been wanting to do a Minecraft inspired piece for a while and this was a great opportunity to work out my idea. Working on this was a nice break from my other WIPs for Galerie Arludik. I loved drawing all the different Creepers although having to work out all those little squares made me feel a little stir crazy!

A little illustration I did for the EGL Valentine’s Day Card Exchange :D

Kind of went for something a little bit Alice and the Pirates inspired for my partner since that was one of the brands she likes. I put in an order for this to be printed onto a small batch of buttons so I could give one to her in addition to a small flat print version. I hope she likes it :D

It was fun to work on this as a break from all the art show pieces I’ve been trying to keep up with.

GDG is teaming up with Muse-Box for a night filled with music, dancing, and art! The theme is the muse-what inspires you!

I submitted this piece the night before I left for my So.Cal trip! This show will be on the 23rd of February :D

I kind of went on a cheekier route and went for an elusive unicorn for my muse! Sometimes when I am working on my pieces things will easily fall into place and sometimes it feels like I am fighting with it the entire time. My muse is a fickle thing and never makes it easy.
